The 40th Petri net conference was colocated with ACSD and the first International Process Mining Conference (ICPM 2019). Together the conferences attracted over 520 participants. The location (Tivoli football stadium), the historical context (reflecting on 40 years of Petri net conferences), and the interaction between Petri nets experts and process mining experts made it a unique event.
